We’ve carried out a partial renovation in a villa located in Saint Pée sur Nivelle.
The client contacts us after finding our website on the Internet and having a positive rating of our company for the work presented there.
It is a villa with the ground floor and a floor height of 230 'm2. of total area.
The owners wish, on the one hand, to enlarge the space dedicated to the living room by annexing the old kitchen and, on the other hand, to create a new kitchen of nearly 30 m2 on the veranda which gives access to the garden.
DEMOLITION AND DEBLATING.
Demolition of the two partitions between the living room and the kitchen to unify the said space and enlarge the space dedicated to the living room.
Demolition of the toilet located next to the old kitchen to change the tiling of the floor and walls and install a new suspended toilet.
Demolition of the living room fireplace. Demolition of the large fireplace in the living room, located in the dividing wall between the living room and the veranda.
Transport and payment of recycling and waste collection costs.
PLUMBING.
Installation of the new hot and cold sanitary water distribution using copper pipes.
Also installed the new PVC waste pipes for the drains.
Change of location of 2 radiators.
MASONRY.
Construction of a double wall filled with rock wool to achieve thermal insulation,
Preparation of the porch floor for the construction of the new kitchen.
Installation of plastic, polystyrene and mesh before pouring a 15 cm thick concrete layer until a uniform level between the living room and the new kitchen is achieved. We then laid the tiles and carried out the grouting.
Installation of 60 x 120 cm porcelain stoneware in the new kitchen.
Supply and installation of CORTIZO brand aluminum windows with double security glazing and anti-vandalism stadip to close the spaces in the new kitchen.
We installed the sliding doors of the new kitchen which give access to the garden so that they are at the same level as the concrete screed; that is to say, embed the rail in the concrete to avoid level differences.
Coat and prepare the walls of the porch - new kitchen to later apply a coat of primer and paint with two coats of matte white paint.
WATERPROOF PLASTERBOARD.
Supply and installation of waterproof plasterboard in the toilet partitions.
Supply and installation of waterproof plasterboard on the porch ceiling that we will transform into a kitchen. Previously, we have installed a galvanized steel structure for screwing the drywalls.
Supply and installation of thermal and acoustic insulating rock wool between the roof of the new kitchen and the waterproof plasterboard in order to insulate this space.
Construction and installation of a waterproof plasterboard cladding to hide the air conditioning equipment of the new kitchen and obtain a more harmonious appearance of this space.
Performing the grouting of the plasterboard then sanding and painting.
Fill the hole in the wall with the old fireplace.
CARPENTRY.
We observed that there was a difference in level in the floor of the living room in several places and, therefore, we carried out a recovery of the level using leveling paste.
Subsequently, we installed 12 mm thick AC-5 laminate parquet, Premium quality, on a thermal and acoustic insulation fabric.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION.
Revision and modification of the electrical installation of the living room and the kitchen.
Kitchen: installation of 8 sockets, 4 light points under the kitchen cabinets + 1 switch.
As a result of changing the physical location of the kitchen, we installed new power lines from the electrical panel to the kitchen. French law prohibits, for safety reasons, the making of cable connections using domino connectors for the electrical outlets that supply household appliances (oven, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, etc.).
Living room: installation of 5 sockets distributed as needed, 1 new ceiling light point, 1 new television socket.
KITCHEN ASSEMBLY.
The customer bought the kitchen and appliances and asked us to do the installation and assembly.
PAINT.
Preparation of walls (toilet, living room, hallway and new kitchen), plaster, removal of cracks, smoothing and sanding. Paint the walls matte white by applying two coats of paint.
END WORKS,
So we come to the end of the work and deliver the chalet completely clean. Ready to move in.
