Comprehensive reform in San Juan de Luz. Basque Coast
This 80 m² apartment has been renovated to correct some inconsistencies that did not allow the owner to optimize the space according to their needs.
We removed a bar that was replaced by a workshop-style window. From the entrance you could see the toilet directly. In order to give the apartment a more up-to-date and discreet aspect we have installed a partition to hide this look.
On the other hand, a third bedroom with workshop style window was created for an optimization of the living room space.
The facades of the kitchen furniture have been replaced and the dining room has been refroomed.
The white tile floor was torn off and a new parquet floor installed.
Demolition.
Demolition of the kitchen and the living room.

Demolition of the bathroom: shower tray, entrance to the shower and half the wall of separation between the sink - shower.

Installation of power outlets in the kitchen on the countertop and two more for the vitroceramic and fridge.

Build the wall in plaster, soundproof with thermal and acoustic insulation of rock wool. Lucido, sanding and finishing. Ready to paint.
Manufacture and installation of a wooden window of 1,80 x 1,31 m. separation with the living room.
Move the pre-existing electrical installation in the wall after having built the walled partition with plaster.
Laminate floor.
Installation of the AC-5 laminated floating floor on a thermal and acoustic insulating cover (the customer is the one who buys this material).
Supply and installation of 13 mm high lacquered white plinths throughout the perimeter where the floating parquet has been installed.
Bathroom.
Construction of an Italian shower, waterproofing and plumbing work included, finished with gresite.
Installing a 10 mm thick safety glazing on a stainless steel profile on the shower wall.
Electricity: installation of a switch on the outside and an indoor power outlet.
Installation of a door with pre-frame, frame and jambs.
Painting.
Throughout the apartment, ceilings and walls; Application of one hand primer and 3 hands of matte white paint.
Preparation of walls and ceilings. Taking the paper off walls , covering and repairing walls and ceiling cracks. Softening and sanding the walls and ceilings.
Applying a primer before painting the walls and ceilings. Application of three layers of paint until achieving an impeccable finish. Use of plastic paint (brands: Caparol, Seignorie, Valentine or similar). Matte White painture.
Sanding and paint the closet located at the entrance of the apartment.
Sanding and paint the front entry door of the apartment.
