Comprehensive reform in Getxo, Algorta neighborhood. Basque Coast.

We find a flat of 57 m2 located in the vicinity of Gran Bilbao, specifically in the neighborhood of Algorta, belonging to the municipality of Getxo(Vuzcaya); on the right bank and between the towns of Berango, Urduliz and Lejona.

The apartment has a reasonably good appearance, but the owner wants to renovate the kitchen, change doors and paint the whole of the house, eliminating gotelé and repair the walls.

As on other occasions, we give the customer the possibility to buy the ceramics and benefit from the discounts, being we who collect, transport and upload the material to the apartment.

Specifically, these are the actions we carry out:

Masonry.

Demolition of the door and part of the access partition to the living room, leaving a diaphanous space. Finish of the new resulting edges.

Leveling the difference existing between the hall and living room after the demolition of the partition.

Kitchen.

Demolition, tiling of the kitchen (tile has been bought by the customer).

New electrical installation with a plug for each appliance, two plugs are installed in the space between the countertop and the kitchen cabinets, one light point and one switch.

Installation of False plasterboard on metal structure of galvanized steel profile and insulating rock wool.

Change of sanitary water supplies, according to the new distribution plan of the kitchen.

Heating in the kitchen.

The heater location is changed. Now, we install it right on the opposite side of the kitchen.

We embed the radiator in the partition, under the window.

Carpentry.

Supply and installation of 6 interior doors, installed and fully finished with jambs and new pre-frames included.

Supply and installation of new armored entrance door, with pre-frame replacement. Completely finished.

Supply and installation of AC-5 laminated wooden floor throughout the apartment, excep the kitchen and bathroom.

Supply and installation of skirting board in the area where we have installed the laminated wooden floor.

False ceiling.

Installation of False ceiling in bathroom 2 – in order to raise the current height – using galvanized steel profile which supports the plasterboard weight. Upon the new plasterboard ceiling we fullfill the espace with thermal and acoustic insulating material. In the Kitchen and bathrooms damp-proof plasterboard is always used.

Painting.

Throughout the house, ceilings and walls:

• Removal of gotelé and/or wallpaper;
• Removal of cracks and wall pike;
• Application of paint, prior primer; finish on the hands to be applied as needed.
• For the choice of paint, we provide the customer with a Pantone (color table) so that he freely chooses the color that best matches his style of decoration.

Painting.

The apartment featured a mixture of gotelé, multi-layered wallpaper, paint on wallpaper. In addition, the walls were curved, with concavities and convexities, misaligned.

For decades, the gotelé has been used to conceal the finishing imperfectionsthe. But the current style of clean walls and straight lines requires a perfect finish.

We decided to remove the old coat of coating, apply plaster on the walls to cover imperfections and smooth them in order to obtain a homogeneous surface. We cover the cracks, smooth the walls and then apply a primer. Afterwards, three paint hands are spread.

When choosing the color of the paint, we offer the customer a table of colors, from which two or three are chosen and a sample is applied to the wall so that the customer gets a plausible idea of the colors and makes the final choice.

Finally, we deliver the apartment completely clean. Ready for start living.
