Complete renovation of a real estate agency in Portugalete. Basque Coast.

This time it's not a house. It is an office on the ground floor open to the public, located in the Basque Country, town of Portugalete, Biscay, close to the towns of Santurce, Barakaldo, Ciérvana, Ortuella, Sestao and Valle de Trápaga, on the left bank of the so-called Gran Bilbao.

We are face a real state agency that has been painted and repainted over the years but it is in the same condition that could have been about forty-five years ago: tiny and very deteriorated bathroom; cracked ceilings and walls; obsolete electrical installation with continuous short-circuits, multiple plug strips, wires through the floor...; floor with a vinyl coating to disguise very worn tile...

The customer wants a total refurbishing. That's why we started with the demolition, in which we get rid of the old bathroom, including plumbing that we completely renovated and added a new electrical water heater; the same for the bulkhead that made up the separate office; the ceilings are also removed to renew it, as well as the entire electrical installation.

In the bathroom we place a toilet and sink suitable for the small dimensions. Also a sliding door that facilitates the entering and exiting. Proper lighting gives a more modern, bigger and cozy feel to this space.

Regarding carpentry, there are important changes:

• Now the office is independent thanks to a separating glass screen and glass door, which give a greater sense of space and cleanliness.
• The exterior carpentry we do not modify it but we do apply a black lacquer.
• We replaced the two exterior blinds with new motorized units with remote control.

For the floor, the customer chooses a sturdy AC-5 laminated wooden floor in light color to enhance the sense of space.

On the ceiling we placed a new false ceiling of plasterboard: the previous one had suffered water leaks, bad repairs, numerous layers of paint and the passage of years that had caused numerous cracks and unevenness.

And finally, the electrical installation: completely new, including the electrical panel; built-in corrugated tube in ceilings, walls and floors with new wiring; service plugs on walls and floor under work tables; the most visible, numerous LED bulbs in warm tone (at the request of the customer) were installed to create an intimate and cozy space.

So we get to the end point of the work and deliver the offices completely clean. Ready to start working.

The customer was completely satisfied with the final result, the fulfillment of the promised deadlines and the treatment received by our company.
